MORE SHIT
What does an independent animator do once he's
finished a film which has consumed his time and effort for
the good part of a year? Why, sell out, of course!
I am happy to announce that Japanicorp has optioned Shit
Party as the basis of an all-new animated TV series, set
to screen on FOX in 2002! Since the production is now largely
out of my hands, I can't tell you much about the show, but
this piece of art I received from the Fox guys will help:

The name they're giving the show at the moment
is POOP PartyFighters!, and borrows its basic theme
from the film -- a guy has angry food in his gut -- but with
some interesting twists designed for a younger audience. For
instance, Slack is a twelve-year old, and the other kids in
the neighborhood feed him the special "fighting foods"
which they've made, and these then engage in PartyFighting
championships in his belly.
As you can see from the pic, the major characters
are still there, although the feta has been somewhat de-ethnicized
for a general audience, and the squid has been tweaked to
accomodate the requests of its celebrity voice artist, teen
heartthrob Freddie Prinze Jr. Also, there now seems to be
a robot cat. I'm not sure where it fits in, but I expect to
be pleasantly surprised.
